In 2022, WCT Group launched its sustainability and CSR proposition, #WCTGives. Under the proposition, WCT is allocating 0.2% of its total annual revenue from all business divisions to fund various CSR programmes under three pillars, namely #WeCareTogether, #EducationforAll, and #AGreenerTomorrow.

As part of WCT’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to support the community surrounding our development and the #EducationforAll pillar, WCT worked closely with Sekolah Kebangsaaan Seri Indah, a primary school located in Taman OUG, Kuala Lumpur. The school caters to students from low-income families and faces several challenges, including inadequate funding and a lack of resources.

In 2021, WCT sponsored ten desktop computers to equip the school with a fully functional computer lab for the students as well as assist with the maintenance, servicing, and supply of air conditioners for the school.

This year, WCT engaged with the school to identify areas in which support is urgently needed. As a result, WCT donated RM14,300.00 to fund the school’s activities and programmes under Aktiviti dan Program Pembangunan Kecemerlangan Sekolah for the year 2022/2023.

The company is committed towards the #EducationForAll pillar and to making a positive impact on people's lives. WCTGives' efforts have undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the students and teachers of SK Seri Indah, and we hope they will continue to benefit from these initiatives for years to come. WCT also plans to continue working closely with SK Seri Indah and has plans to further engage the school during festive seasons next year.
