WCT Group’s ‘Rayai Sesi Kembali ke Sekolah’ CSR programme, an initiative under the WCTGives #EducationforAll pillar was a success with 140 B40 primary school students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Indah, Taman OUG benefitting from the programme.

The programme that coincided with Back-to-School, Ramadan and Hari Raya celebrations involved the distribution of school supplies, snacks, and green packets to underprivileged students. A cash donation of RM3,000 was also made to fund the school activities for the new academic session.

Gracing the event were Mr Chong Wah Hing, Chief Operating Officer – Property Development and Puan Niza Bt Abdul Wahab, Penolong Kanan Pentadbiran SK Seri Indah.

In the spirit of Hari Raya, WCT Group was pleased to bring some festive cheer to SK Seri Indah by working with Première Hotel, Klang to distribute 330 packs of Bubur Lambuk to the students and teachers at the school. SK Seri Indah is predominantly attended by children from low-income families and special needs students.

Through WCTGives, the Group aims to inspire volunteerism among WCT employees. In support of this CSR programme, 12 WCT employee volunteers came forward to assist in the packing of school supplies and snacks, as well as the distribution of the school supplies to the B40 students.
