WCT was awarded the contract for the construction and completion of the 7-storey shopping complex podium and 5-storey carpark. The scope of works consists of underpinning the existing structure and additional piling works, alteration and modification works to existing structure, extension of structure works, architectural works, mechanical and electrical works, external and infrastructure works, supervision and coordination of tenants’ works, furniture, fixture & equipment and cinema renovation works.
WCT has successfully transformed the abandoned building of close to 20 years into an iconic destination for shopping, dining and entertainment and opened its doors to public in 2017. The project was awarded the CIDB Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award 2018 – Builder of the Year award.
