WCT was awarded the Panagarh-Palsit (KM 517 – KM 581) and Durgapur (KM 581 to KM 646) expressway contract on a Build-Operate-Transfer basis from the National Highways Authority of India.
The scope of works included the inter-alia, design, finance, construct, operate and maintain the highway project and it involves the rehabilitation, upgrading and widening of the existing two-lane to a four-lane dual carriageway from KM 581 to KM 646 and was completed in December 2005.
