WCT was awarded the contract to develop an Iron Ore Distribution and Pellet Plant at Teluk Rubiah near Manjung, Perak, Malaysia by Vale Malaysia Manufacturing (VMM) Sdn Bhd worth RM115 million which included earthworks, drainage, roads and pavement, slope protection works and temporary sedimentation ponds at VMM’s projects which was successfully completed in November 2013.
WCT was later awarded another contract by (VMM) Sdn Bhd worth RM72.8 million to undertake industrial civil works. This project was completed in April 2014.
