WCT undertook 49% of the total contract to design and construct the New Doha International Airport in Doha, Qatar which includes an airfield facility with 2 runways, 3 parallel taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, tunnels and detention ponds. The structure also included the construction of a 1km dual 3-lane midfield access tunnel consisting of twin cells with a dimension of 20m by 5.5m per cell.
The project was completed in January 2011.
