WCT Land won big with a total of nine golden awards including the Best Developer (Malaysia) award at the 10th PropertyGuru Asia Awards in partnership with iProperty.com.my, a testament to the dedication and commitment to prioritising customer satisfaction, creating real value for customers, embracing sustainable and eco-friendly practices through green spaces and energy-efficient designs.
WCT Malls bagged the Silver Award in the Best Shopper/Retailer Experience category at the Marketing Excellence Awards 2023. Additionally, it was also nominated as a finalist in two other categories, namely Excellence in COVID-19 Related Campaigns and Excellence in Loyalty Marketing.
The Hyatt Place Johor Bahru, Paradigm Mall, the first Hyatt Place hotel in Johor Bahru, opened its doors to guests on 8th November 2023. The Maple Residences, WCity OUG at Kuala Lumpur was awarded Bronze in the Residential Category by GreenRE Sdn Bhd, thereby making it the first green-certified project under WCT Land. The certification was granted to The Maple Residences, having taken into consideration aspects such as Energy Efficiency, Water Efficiency and Environmental Protection.
WCT Berhad was crowned winner of the International Safety Awards 2023 by the British Safety Council. This prestigious accolade is in recognition of the company’s strong commitment and compliance to good occupational safety and health management system at its project sites and met the International Safety & Health standards.
WCT Malls is awarded the prestigious Marketing Initiative of the Year at the Retail Asia Awards 2023. Presented by Retail Asia Magazine, the award recognises WCT Malls’ effort in launching a groundbreaking initiative – Voucher Bonanza Sale (VBS) that help sustain its mall tenants while providing shoppers with substantial savings. As of 2023, a total of 9 series of the VBS promotional campaigns have been launched across WCT Malls, namely Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, gatewayklia2, and Skypark Terminal.
